Walking and more walking by Annabelle Lake

Today consisted of walking, then climbing, then lots more walking. We visited Prague Castle, as well as St. Vitus’s Cathedral, the Basilica of St. George, and the Golden Lane. After lunch, we crossed the Charles Bridge before we were let free in Old Town Square to shop and explore.
One of the high points of the day (literally!) was when we climbed the south tower of the cathedral. It was a tough ascent — 279 steps! — but the view from the top of the tower was incredible and definitely worth the hike.
Something that I realized today was that the comma is used as a period here! At every restaurant and shop we went to, the price is written with a comma because it holds the decimal place, not because everything costs several thousand krowns (as I initially thought).
