The First Day in Czech by Louie DePalma

This morning we took a train to the bone church in Kutná Hora. The church and decorations are made up of human bones from the 1500s. The bones come from thousands of people who died from the plague or in war. Following the Bone Church, we went to lunch in Kutná Hora. I learned that lunch is the biggest and most important meal compared to dinner in the U.S. We spent the rest of our day visiting the cathedral and silver mines in Kutná Hora. Upon return, we ate pizza for lunch and headed back to the hotel for the night. I’m looking forward to the following week filled with beautiful architecture, pictures, and great food!
