Kuntá Hora by Ellie Adam

Today was our first full day in Prague, we spent it by visiting the town of Kutna Hora. After we woke up, we traveled by train to see the bone church which was very interesting to see because the church was filled with many actual human bones. It was crazy to think that real people who were living had their bones on display in this church. After we visited the bone church everyone got some ice cream then visited St. Barbara’s Cathedral which was so beautiful and it was on a big hill that overlooked a big portion of the countryside. The last big activity we did in Kutna Hora was visiting the mines which was neat as well. We all then looked around the town for a little and took the train back to our hotel and ended the night with getting pizza for dinner. Overall, the first day in Prague went very well. A big cultural difference I thought was the food, I’m used to eating less meat and not as big of portions for meals in America but I still like the food. I am also looking forward to the overnight trip that we spend in the Disney-like town called Cesky Krumlov.
