Bones! by Kate Yemc

Today we explored all over the town Kutna Hora. First we went to the bone church, which is a church decorated with human bones! It was so disturbing, Molly and I had to leave early. Later in the day we traveled down into the old silver mines. I was so scared to go underground, because I was afraid of the tunnels caving in. However, it actually turned out to be a lot of fun! The tunnels were pretty gross though, because they were covered in water and moss. Some of the mine was so tight that I had trouble fitting through. I couldn’t believe that people in the past had to spend whole days underground in the pitch black. After the mine, we walked around a little and then climbed aboard the train back to Prague.
