Terezín by Kate Yemc

Today we traveled 50 minutes out of Prague to Terezín. There we explored the ghetto and concentration camp from World War II. The scene of Terezín was horrifying, imagining the sufferings of those in Terezín during World War II was sickening. Once we’d seen it all, we climbed aboard the bus and started our journey back to Prague. For dinner, we split up into groups and went to different restaurants. Natalia, Molly, Taryn, and I all went to an amazing Italian place! After we ate, our whole group met up and walked around for the rest of the night. As we were walking home, we stumbled upon a candy store, which was the cutest thing I have ever seen. The store was filled with barrels of candy and fudge! When we finally got back to the apartments we settled in to prepare for our overnight trip to Česky Krumlov in the morning.
