Detailed Art and Design by Taryn Schermer

Day one in Prague,

Today we woke up early to go for a run through a park and through the city and then got
on a bus to go to Lesser Town. Lesser town was beautiful and we got to walk through the Czech Castle and climbed to the top of the cathedral to see the amazing view off Prague. I learned about medieval torture devices and saw different types of armor that knights wore. My favorite part was looking out of the clock tower and seeing the city and landscape. Something that Prague has that the US doesn’t is the detailed art and designs in the buildings and how much effort people give to make something beautiful. The funniest part of my day was looking out the top of the cathedral and looking down and seeing Evan wondering around at the bottom in the rain while everyone else was standing there watching him. Tomorrow I’m  looking forward to seeing the concentration camps and learning more about them and what all happened during that time.
