Yesterday we landed in Prague after our 7 and half hour flight from New York. I felt like I hadn’t slept in a week. When we landed, we took a bus, a train, and a tram to get to our apartments. After that we got cleaned up and left for a night on the town. We got dinner and walked around Old Town. The buildings are amazing, because they are so detailed and old. We came back to the apartments early so that we could get some sleep and prepare for an exciting next day!
Today was our first full day in Prague! Instead of going on a morning run around the city with about half of our group, I decided to sleep in. By 9:00 we were out the door walking to the tram, which we rode over to the Prague castle. When we got to the castle we explored it for most of the day. We walked so much, overall I walked about 18,000 steps! One of my favorite parts of the day was climbing 287 steps to the top of the church, which is in the castle. The climb up and down the stairs was terrifying, however, the view was definitely worth it. Today was the perfect way to start our adventure in Prague!
