Day 6: Haggling with Vietnamese in Krumlov by Danny Brooks

Český Krumlov, the city of all cities, other than Prague. Today we spent our last hours in various locations all around this magical city. We visited the castle again but this time the tower. As a group we free styled and sang sometimes when walking but tried not to look too American among quiet Europeans. We had lunch again on the river and went shopping for scarves where people had haggling wars and competitions on who could get the lowest price. Haggling is something you don’t see much of in the U.S. anymore. It is like the bartering system in a way where you have leverage and wiggle room. Once we were done there we traveled to the bus and headed back Prague. Once we were there we relaxed and had a nice dinner and romantic walk near the old monastery in the New Town. Honestly it was a great day and couldn’t have asked for a better day! Now to meet the new LaLu Czech student tomorrow!
