Day 3: Beautiful History and Delicious Food by Lily Kennedy

Today was the third day in Prague, and it was full of excitement. We started out the day heading back to the Old Town Square where we shopped and looked around. Next we traveled to the Prague Castle where the President of Prague lives. We witnessed a changing of the guards inside the courtyard. Then we toured inside the Saint Vitus cathedral, which was very big. I loved seeing the stained glass and the ancient artifacts inside. Next we toured the Saint George’s Basillica, and then the Old Royal Palace where we saw the spot that a defenestration occured. We had an amazing lunch at the Strahov Monastery high in the hills. I tried goulash for the first time and it was very good! After we had free time to shop around in smaller groups. We finished the day in New Town shopping in the malls and eating gelato 🙂
