Lucy Caplice: Day 2, necessary to see

Today was another grade day in the beautiful city of Prague. In the morning we took a bus Terazín. This is a small town where we saw the concentration camps thousands of Jews were held in during World War II and the holocaust. It was a place that was hard to see, especially the crematorium but it was necessary to see. This experience overall was a important cultural journey because it made me more aware of the horrible events of the holocaust, because actually seeing the place made me realize how real this event was. After leaving the concentration camp we went back to Prague to see old town square. One differing cultural aspect in Prague is the value they put on their water, at the majority of restaurants in Prague the water is not free. Mrs. Tallman said that she has to look very hard to find restaurants that will serve us free water. The day was a lot of fun and very interesting!
