Day 2: Terezín and svíčková by Patrik Jelínek

After Zach waking me, Ben and, Jack up by repeatedly pressing our door knob, we all went downstairs to eat breakfast. After breakfast we took on the day head on! We went to the concentration camp named Terezín in the Czech Republic. It was eye opening to see what actually happened in the camps right in front of me. It was a very good learning experience to have about that topic and I learned to respect the people and families who went through all of that. Once we were done seeing the camp we went to eat dinner. I ordered svíčková – rained beef, which I’ve never had before, but I tried it and it was really good! After that we went to the Old Town Square and it was one of the most beautiful parts of Prague I have seen so far. I can’t wait to see what is in stored for tomorrow!
