Terezin by Megan Jelinek

Today we went to visit a concentration camp near Prague. Being there was a scary and sad experience that truly showed the struggles of the people in the camp. Seeing the camp was so surreal and heartbreaking. It’s hard to actually imagine what those people went through. Although it was really sad, I enjoyed the day and all of the information we learned. After retiring home from the camp, we had time to freshen up and get ready for dinner. We went to Old Town Square for dinner where we got free time to eat and enjoy the city. After eating our delicious meal, I of course got gelato and went looking through shops. Seeing the city at night was unreal and definitely my favorite thing this far. While walking back to the subway we all danced and sang down the streets and it was such a great time. It was an amazing night  that I will remember forever!
