Walking in Prague by Fiona Whalen

We started our first day out with breakfast in the hotel. It was a good start to the day. We then walked to the train station and had an hour long trip to Kunta Hora. Here we spent the day walking from place to place. We went to the Bone Church, a church decorated with the bones of religion wars in the past. I lit a candle for the dead. We then walked to go to lunch where we had traditional Czech dishes. The food was good but the lemonade was not, it was very strong and sour with too much ginger in mine. We also visited a church that looked like a castle. It was beautiful. The highlight of my day was visiting the silver mines. They were really cool. I learned a lot about silver and how they mine and prepare/process it. We ate a lot of gelato today and it was so good. It was a great first full day.
