First Tour of Prague by Ted Schaetlze

Today we stayed around Prague and left new town (where we’re staying) and headed for Old Town. Old town was spectacular. I love how all the building have a unique history and have existed for many centuries. We saw many different eras of architecture. The communist buildings are very easy to point out because of their bold, plain styled stone. After this we went up into a church tower overlooking the town where I experienced the most beautiful view i have ever seen. We visited many squares throughout old town and took a carriage ride through the city as well. After this, Rowan, Evan, and I went on an adventure to find an awesome restaurant. This was a waste of time because the McDonalds was too appealing. Later in the evening after freshening up we took the trolley to the opera house. The inside was so detailed I didn’t know what to look at. My favorite activity was going up in the town hall tower. I had a hard time facing my fear of heights and also the arrogance of the French people. Today was a great day. I’m enjoying every second of everyday.
